What is LPA Check?
LPA Check is a document check service. You answer about 40 questions about your completed LPA and we check your answers against the Office of the Public Guardian's published requirements and the 2007 Regulations. We do not provide legal advice and we are not a government agency.
Do I need to upload my form?
No. A signed LP1H contains special category health data and handwriting OCR is unreliable. Instead you answer a guided questionnaire that walks through your form section by section. It takes under 10 minutes.
How much does it cost?
The full report is £39. You can add a check of both your LPAs for £59. The OPG registration fee of £92 per LPA is separate and payable to the OPG, not to us.
What do I see for free?
You see the headline verdict, the number of issues found broken down by severity, the category of each issue, and one fully worked example. Everything else is unlocked after payment.
What if I am not happy with my report?
If you are not happy with your report for any reason, email us within 14 days and we will refund you in full. No questions, no forms. See our Refund page.
