Privacy Policy

Last updated 22 August 2026

This policy explains how LPA Check handles your personal data in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

Your email address (so we can send your report and a return link), and your answers to the questionnaire. We do not collect your name unless you include it in an answer. We do not see or store your payment card details; card processing is handled by our payment provider, Wix (trading as Base44 Payments).

Why we collect it and the lawful basis

We process your email address and questionnaire answers on the basis of contract (to deliver the report you have paid for) and, where you ask us to email you, consent. Where your answers relate to an LP1H, they may include special category health data. We rely on your explicit consent as the Article 9 condition for processing that data. You can withdraw consent at any time, though withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.

How we use it

To run the analysis, produce the report, email it to you, and provide a return link. We also use anonymised funnel counts to understand how the service is used and to improve it.

AI and automated processing

We use artificial intelligence (a large language model) to help analyse your questionnaire answers and produce your report. A human-designed rules check runs alongside the AI. The AI processes your answers to identify issues against the OPG's published requirements. Your answers are sent to our AI provider for processing and are not used to train their models. This is automated processing to produce a document check report; it is not automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects on you, and you have the right to ask for human review of your report by contacting us.

Retention and automatic deletion

We keep your questionnaire answers and report for 30 days, then delete them automatically. Uploaded files are stored with a 30-day auto-delete lifecycle. We keep a record of the transaction (amount and date) for accounting and tax purposes for the period required by law; that record is not linked to your questionnaire answers.

Request deletion sooner

You do not have to wait 30 days. Enter your email below and we will send you a confirmation link. Open the link within 30 minutes to confirm, and we will delete the records linked to your email address straight away.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase or restrict the processing of your data, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, use the form above or email us. We will respond within one month.

Sharing and third parties

We do not sell your data. We share it with the following third parties to the extent necessary to deliver the service:

  • Wix (trading as Base44 Payments) processes your payment. We receive your email and transaction details but do not see your card details.
  • Our AI provider processes your questionnaire answers to help produce your report.
  • Our hosting and email providers store your data and deliver your report email.
  • Google (Google Ads) and Meta (Meta Pixel) collect limited data via cookies and pixels if you arrive via an advertisement or browse the site. This includes a cookie ID and pages viewed. They do not receive your questionnaire answers or your email unless you voluntarily enter it. See our Cookie Policy for more detail.

International transfers

Your data is processed in the United Kingdom. Where any provider processes data outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK International Data Transfer Agreements.
